• Responsible for Business Development of our Institutional Clients including but not limited to central banks, sovereign wealth funds and pensions

• Maintain and develop relationships to existing clients as well as increasing AuM within existing mandates or by cross selling and through outstanding level of client engagement

• Establish new relationships with institutional investors globally and develop potential clients opportunities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of E Fund’s investment strategies

• Manage the full sales process including cold calling, client visits, investment presentations, due diligence, closing investment mandates and follow-up engagements

• Tailor presentation materials to suit business development needs

• Partner with other teams in the company including investments, product management, trading and legal throughout the sales process as well as giving client feedback to relevant teams

• Master’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience from global leading education institutions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese

• 5 years and above of asset management industry experience (preferred) or general financial services experience.

• CFA or other professional financial qualification or equivalent knowledge (preferred)

RFP Writer & Sales Support

RFP

• Deliver high quality, accurate, relevant and timely client documentations including RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and ad-hoc requests from clients, work on new responses and tailoring all content to the particular proposal requirements

• Develop a strong knowledge of key investment and company strategies

• Proactively organize work flow to meet client and internal deadlines

• Liaise with relevant parties to determine client requirements, allocate responsibilities and project manage the entire RFP completion process

• Collaboratively work with the team and other colleagues within the organization

• Independently create original content or update existing content based on emerging requirements or new areas of external client focus, distinguishing between opportunity- specific customization and generic content

• Track and monitor the RFP pipeline of work in progress

Sales Support

• Update regular product strategy and market commentaries in sales materials

• Assist to create and elaborate presentation on a product material (pitch books, factsheets, leaflets, newsletters, etc.) that involve critical thinking

• Actively involve in client request responding

• Assist senior management to formulate marketing strategy and product positioning through analysis & monitoring of competitors, competitors’ products and global institution landscape & trends

• Assist with global branding activities, working closely with external parties to broaden brand exposure

• Lead and/or participate in ongoing initiatives to support business requirements, such as training, reporting, and tools or systems development and maintenance

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese is a must

• 5 years and above of asset management (preferred) or general financial services experience.
